We had a great time this year at the Christmas Parades and
the Motorcycle Toy Runs. I will have pictures online soon.
It is our last event of the year and it is time to party!!! The Club Christmas Party will be held at
the Nutrition Center in Ringgold on December 13, 2008, 6:00 pm. If the weather is nice we hope everyone will drive their
cars. We thought we would do things a little different this year and will be asking everyone to bring a dish and or
a dessert. This will be a finger food type setting but any dish is welcome, if you need any ideas
call (423-304-2711) or email me. The club will be making sandwich trays, supplying soft drinks (coke, diet coke,
sprite,water,coffee) plates, napkins, cups, and eating utensils. We will have a full kitchen
on site if any food needs to stay warm, be heated or refrigerated. This year we will once again be doing the
Chinese Auction which seems to be a favorite. This year we will set the price for the gift at 20.00 per person or
couple who participates. Please remember to wrap the gift (no name). This is always a fun time!!!! This year we
will also try some Karaoke and maybe a little dancing. So for all of you out there who want to give it a try
get ready for the fun. If you have any Karaoke or dancing music be sure to bring it!!!! If you bring any Holiday Spirits
please be sure they are brought in a inconspicuous container. As of now I have 33 RSVP'S, but It's never to late to come
even if it is the last minute!!!! We hope to see you there!!!!!
Directions to Nutrition center:
If you are going South on Highway 41 through Downtown
Ringgold, take the first road on your left after the railroad underpass (Evitt Street). It
will be the first building on the left immediately past the Fire department.
If you are coming north on Highway
41 you will turn to the right on Evitt Street just before the railroad underpass. It
is immediately on the left past the fire department.
If
you are coming from the Ooltewah area you can come all the way down Ringgold/Ooltewah Road until it almost ends on Highway 41. It will be the building on the right immediately before you get to the Fire Department.
There will be a sign at the entrance saying C.A.R.S.
